China Quantitative Investment Forum 2008:
Overview and Perspectives

    With the rapid development of the capital market in China, the total size of asset management by mutual funds and securities firms has increased to 2.26 trillion by the first quarter of 2008. In the meantime, QDIIs (Qualified Domestic Institutional Investors) are allowed to expand their asset pools to global markets. More and more domestic investors find traditional fundamental analysis not enough to make investment decisions, and realize that quantitative investment can at least help them do the stock screening. Thus in recent years, the study on quantitative investment, both theoretically and practically, has been a hot topic among domestic institutional investors.

    As a pioneering domestic institute in quantitative investment, United Securities is honored to host China Quantitative Investment Forum 2008. The conference will be the FIRST and so far the ONLY event in China which aims at both theoretical study and practical application on quantitative investment. We are inviting speakers from State Street, BGI, Goldman Sachs, and leading local mutual funds such as Bosera and Zhonghai. Major subjects of the conference include:
